September 25, 2019. Participation in the XVIII National Remote Sensing Congress in Valladolid.

Mª Pat González of IFAPA presented the irrigation recommendations model of the AGROgestor platform, based on remote sensing.

On September 25, 26 and 27, 2019, the XVIII National Congress of the Spanish Association of Remote Sensing was held in Valladolid.

During the same María Pat González Dugo of IFAPA presented the work “Spectral response of two woody Mediterranean crops (olive and orange) under conditions of complete soil cover. Influence in the estimation of evapotranspiration using culture coefficients ”.

The objectives of the work are: 1) to compare the spectral response of two woody Mediterranean crops (olive and orange), with different morphological and physiological properties under conditions of complete plant cover, to determine the values ​​of the maximum IVs that should be used to estimate their water needs

2) Validate the IV-ETo model in an olive grove with in-situ ET measurements, integrating the maximum SAVI value obtained.
