The main result of the LIFE AGROgestor project will be the AGROgestor platform with instruments and utilities to support the collective management of agricultural crops, for the provision of advisory services in different environmental programs: efficiency in the use and integrated management of water and fertilization in vulnerable areas.
The platform allows collective managers to select a collective management area (AGC) based on different criteria (geographic, cultivation, river basin district, municipality), and calculate indicators associated with environmental programs.
The collective managers that the AGROgestor platform intends to provide are: Agrarian cooperatives, irrigation users communities, agri-food industries, environmental or water management service companies, waste managers and environmental authorities.
This webGIS platform is being validated in 3 complementary pilot programs, representative of the 3 main environmental problems derived from the use of water and agricultural fertilization.
The AGROgestor platform offers Collective Management services by Sustainability Indicators capable of interacting with the entities that usually provide services related to the irrigation of crops and with the more generalized tools that these entities have put at the service of irrigators and managers.
