April 3, 2019. Technical conference on organic fertilization with Fundació Mas Badia in Malla (Catalonia)

On April 3, 2019 took place in Malla (Catalonia) a day of reference in the agricultural sector on the management of organic fertilization organized by the LIFE AGRICLOSE project.

During the course of the day, which was attended by 120 people, farmers also attended the demonstration pilot program in areas with organic waste from the Osona area, and representatives of the Agrarian of Torelló linked to the Life AGROgestor project.

The objective of the day was to apply livestock removals in search of maximum profitability and efficiency. During the day, with reference speakers in each field, topics of great interest were addressed such as:

> The importance of planning in organic fertilization.

> Machinery and equipment for the application of liquid manure

> Management of fertilization with livestock droppings

> Re (emerging) organic products

During the day, demonstration plots were visited with different fertilizer applications and related to the theme of the seasons. A compilation of the most outstanding ongoing projects on fertilization and cattle manure was also presented:

This reference day takes place within the framework of the Plans for the improvement of agricultural fertilization in Catalonia and with the support of different projects: Life Agriclose, Life Agrogestor; Life + Agrarian Future as well as the demonstration activity “Maximize the efficiency of slurry applications in extensive crops”, of the PDR of Catalonia 2014-2020.
