March 12, 2019. MAS BADIA project working day at the Cooperativa Agraria de Torelló in the demonstrative PILOT of AGROgestor.

On March 12, 2019 there was a day of transfer of the AGROgestor project in the Torelló Agrarian Cooperative.

The agricultural cooperative of Torelló is the collective manager of the pilot in areas with organic waste.

During the day Marc Jabardo de Mas Badia explained the agrogestor project, focusing on the collective management of the information offered by the platform. Silvia Domingo of the Agrarian Cooperative of Torelló, explained the fertilization tool, and Francesc Domingo, of Mas Badia, explained the recommendations for an adequate application of slurry in the crops. To finish with the presentation of Joan Parera of the DARP, on the tools to be able to apply the dose (kg N / ha) scheduled.

During the day the demonstration pilot’s plot was visited.

The LIFE AGROgestor platform will be validated in 3 collective management environmental pilots during the years 2018, 2019 and 2020. The pilots have been chosen to respond to each of the environmental problems that are the object of the project: Water scarcity, nitrate contamination, and the problem of organic fertilizers.

MAS BADIA, in Catalonia, takes over the demonstration pilot in areas with organic waste. ITAP, in Albacete, is responsible for demonstration pilot in basins with overexploitation. And INTIA, in Navarra, is in charge of the demonstration pilot in vulnerable zones for nitrates.
