AGROgestor Platform: Training, awareness and advisory session with the farmers of the Orvaláiz Cooperative.
Ana Pilar Armesto (INTIA) has given a day of training, awareness and advice on the LIFE AGROgestor Platform at the Cooperativa Orvaláiz de Torres de Elorz in Navarra.
The training day began with the presentation of the results of the agricultural data obtained during the 2018 campaign.
Next, the new features of the sigAGROasesor platform have been presented:
Improvement of the visualization of parcels by campaigns
New administrative management of PAC declarations by enclosures
New system to register campaigns and new crops in the campaign
PyrenEOS project: HAD classification based on satellite images
These training sessions on the sigAGROasesor platform are essential to train users during this year 2019, before the AGROgestor platform is operational by the end of 2019, and to offer the new collective services proposed on the AGROgestor platform.
The Orvaláiz cooperative is one of the members of the Pilot in areas vulnerable to nitrates in Navarra. The pilot is located in Sector I of the Navarra-Valdizarbe Canal, encompassing a Collective Management Area (AGC) of 1.1152 ha. in which 90% of the surface is encompassed in the Vulnerable Zone of the Rio Robo. 40% of it is dedicated to corn and soft wheat
The LIFE AGROgestor platform will be validated in 3 collective management environmental pilots during the years 2018, 2019 and 2020. The pilots have been chosen to respond to each of the environmental problems that are the object of the project: Water scarcity, nitrate contamination, and the problem of organic fertilizers.
