Visit of the LIFE monitor to the Pilot in areas vulnerable to nitrates in Navarra.

Today we received the visit of the monitor of the LIFE program to the INTIA headquarters in Villava (Navarra), to follow up on the actions and progress of the LIFE AGROgestor project. The meeting was attended by representatives of all project partners: ITAP, NEIKER, IFAPA, PRODEVELOP, Fundació Mas BADIA, AEMET, and INTIA, as well as the DEX Group.

After an intense morning of work, we visited in the afternoon the Pilot Zone in areas vulnerable to the contamination of Nitrates in Navarre with the partners and the LIFE monitor.

In the pilot plot he met the collective managers involved in this pilot: The Orvaláiz-Valdizarbe Cooperative, the Obanos Group, the Errealaiz Group, the Irrigation Community of Sector I of the Navarra-Valdizarbe Canal, the AGUACANAL concessionaire, and the Environmental Management of Navarra (GAN) and INTIA, who explained in depth the characteristics of the River Robo Basin, the routes of crops in the area, and the operation of the irrigation system.
