THE PROJECT
The AGROgestor project has launched a demonstration in the Collective Management of crop information, through the development of sustainable services in irrigated agriculture, aimed at water governance, efficiency in the use of irrigation water, and the quality of water bodies.
The project has focused on reducing the environmental impact in irrigated agriculture, through a decision support system that facilitates effective and sustainable PLANNING AND COLLECTIVE MANAGEMENT
We have worked with two specific environmental objectives: efficiency in the use of water, and quality of the water bodies.

In this project, two digital platforms have been developed: AGROgestor platform and AGROasesor platform, to support strategic plans to promote the use of sustainable practices in agrosystems: We generate knowledge and evaluation processes.
The project has established a training and awareness channel to support the sector in the adoption and integration of digital tools in the monitoring of farms, focused on the service that these tools offer to improve farm management
For this, the project has been developed in 9 demonstration pilots in 9 autonomous communities, around the three types of environmental programs that are the objective of the project:
– Overexploitation of aquifers
– Areas with high livestock load
– Areas vulnerable to nitrate contamination
To support awareness in the target environmental programs, use case factsheets have been prepared in which the use of new technologies in sustainable management is made visible.
